Dear Singers,  

We are the Long Beach Community Chamber Singers.

Informal open auditions are being held for a newly formed chamber vocal group that specializes in uplifting spirits with musical outreach. We strive to sing for community events and various activities that bring people together in celebration of life, music, joy, and friendship. Interested candidates should possess basic musicianship skills and experience in singing with choral groups. They should have a readiness and desire to excel and be challenged in a nurturing and creative environment.

Time commitment: we meet twice per month and rehearse for 1.5 hour during the weekends.  

Membership: Selected Candidates will be expected to attend rehearsals on a regular basis and to contribute $15 – 20 per rehearsal. The financial contribution supports the operation of the group and compensation for the music director.
